Why do these New Day crooks believe that they should dabble in every aspect of social life, with the sole purpose of controlling it by their PEPs or siphoning off revenue for the cookie jar????
Junkanoo should be solely in the hands of The People, as Government always fails at these kinds of operations.
Look at the out island Regattas ...... All of them that depend solely on Government funding have either closed down or are struggling to put on a small thing just to keep it going. Government cannot and will not fund Junkanoo across the country. Just look at Regattas as a precedent.
I guess that the BCC President doesn't see that as hypocritical.
After all, many of the 242 clergy brothers across many denominations are in the Lodge.
The Lodge brothers are so conceited and so deep in the crevices of Hell that they don't see the wrong/hypocrisy of being in both the pulpit and in the upper room.
The words of the PM are absolutely valueless ........ He will say whatever he believes the citizens will swallow for the political advantage of the PLP.
If the 242 citizens are that stupid to give the PLP another term in office, that gambling law will be one of the first bills introduced after Parliament reconvenes.
I surely hope for his sake and those under his jurisdiction, that the BCC President & his officers are practicing Godly living and do not stand accused before their fellowmen and their God.
The BCC has long been viewed as a boy's club of certain denominations. Just like the political parties and their "royal families".
If the PLP bows to these neo-crooks and allow them to not only sit in Parliament but also be in Cabinet, then there is NO way in hell that Davis should be PM again.
The Bahamas got screwed with Christie and the Referendum (that he said was not), but this country would have been far better off with a national lottery to help out healthcare, education & sports.
Instead he fattened a few crooks, like Sebas, Flowers, Culmer, Brice & Fox dem. And look at the DAMAGE what that has done to our society.

Mario Bowleg is a lost cause and a flammer of the highest order.
His Ministry has not moved forward since 2021 ........ just follow the happenings in any of the 3 Departments (Youth, Sports, Culture).
That is one Ministry that should be disbanded and put back under Education, like in the old days. It is only a paycheck for loafers and cronies.
