**i posted this in another story, but it is worth repeating .............**

When any developing country's Govt finds itself paying out 20%+ of its national budget to cover interest payments on its national debt ................ Nassau, we have a problem.

It will follow then, that the rest of the 20+ Cabinet Ministries will suffer, especially if the largest ratio of any Ministry goes to pay salaries for civil servants ........... Nassau, we have a problem.

And, if the Government has an escalating Social Security (NIB) bill and retirees pension bill that goes unfunded/unseen in the Budget and threatens to collapse within the next decade ............ Nassau, we have a problem.

the time has come to get rid of the deadweight soes and the gussie mae cabinets.

Yet ............. our politicians are laughing and bamming on the tables gleefully

Some schools DO pay teachers who get outstanding glat, bjc and BGCSE results .......... They get paid a ceratin amount per subject depending on whether it is an A or a B.

So, if Munroe is using that analogy, he needs to find out which Police Stations are paying their officers for getting the most citations in a given period.

The public will like to compare "incentives" notes on the teachers vs the policemen ................

On Munroe defends scheme he said was fake news

Good question ........... that incident went quiet.

Obie must be shipped him out and cleaned his file.

But, what about the scores of bad cops who are not caught on camera ...... but abuse their power daily with innocent civilians????

Is the DCOP any different?????? ....... He is the chief FNM headhunter for the PLP.

Facinating name of the letter writer ............ hmmmmmmm

Maybe he will get mentioned in the halls of power because he has an exotic name.

I trust that he is a real (at least legally third generation) Bahamian and not some fella who washed up on these shores, regardless of skin colour.

But, his letter contains a lot of truth .......... Sadly, the "evil rulers" won't pay it any attention. They are too busy getting fat off the people ......... Is it true that the PM will own the carbon credits windfall?????????

No right thinking Bahamian can attest that this Davis-led government has been good for The Bahamas .............. We are quickly going down into the "sewer" despite the bells and whistles of "jubilee". And there is NO excuse (like Covid or Dorian) to fall back on.

Take these points into consideration ......... cost of living (increasing), fear of crime (increasing), national debt/GDP ratio (increasing), quality of life for average Joe (decreasing), hopelessness & migration (increasing), retirement outlook (decreasing), Bahamians' share of the economic pie (decreasing), trust in Government (decreasing), fear of political victimization (increasing).

Davis is leading this country to the brink of the slippery slope of national catastrophe.

The first past the post system is what is killing our democracy.

If we has a representative voting system where the party gets a percentage of the seats that match its votes on election day, then our votes will really count,

But as long as it remains based on the present old style, one party CAN win 30 seats out of 39, but only get 40 perecnt of the overall votes cast.

This Long Island "land grab" situation is a different beast all together. It has to be exposed.

This is family land with CLEAR title going back over 100 years that this American racketeer who is posing as some Christian TV personality is now trying to take from good Bahamians with the blessings of his "friends" in high political office.

This is treason on behalf of the enablers in Cabinet.

What is the point of the PLP having a national convention???

Will they really change any of the major ringleaders????

Or is this another big PR stunt like the prorogation/reshuffle/newGG stunt????

Give it to the PLP .......... they are the masters of "smoke and mirrors"
