You know what, we don't need the PLP to do this, we don't need them to do anything for the Bahamaian people, simply because they don't do things right, it's always political and we ended up paying for it, we end up paying for nothing.
Nice this test is being carried out, it should be done by the government. No doubt we will see some very dangerous levels of air pollutions mostly as a result of auto exhaust emissions, especially in the areas where there are traffic lights and tons of traffic. We already know that the air is apart of the medical issues that most of us are experiencing. The question is how serious will the government take this result (which we already know). Will we see more politics and blame game or can we expect embargo on the import of automobiles, etc? Some changes must occur, so what can we expect from the government and its environmental agencies and how fast will we see some action if any at all?
Dude is either talking to himself or to his sophisticated friends, he is really out of touch real badly. He can't be talking to or about the common man on the street struggling to pay bills or survive. Stock markets and interest rates? What does the small man knows or cares about those things. He can't pay his bill and feed his children. Come down to earth wealthy people.
The crowds were dashing, but check this out. When I worked for TWA airline they invested $11m per yr. They flew crowds into Nassau and Freeport to have fun, but it was not about the crowds nor the fun, it was about the profit, and they profited $4m a year, not enough! So they pulled out because they could do better with $11m somewhere else.
So do the math, either carnival need a full week of celebration or 1 million customers and participants spending no less than $X per person for it to worth the investment.
