Exactly. I really started out supporting Minnis, but he's starting to make me question that decision. So the media should only print flattering stories of you now? This is The Bahamas, not USA!
Did the police ever stop to think that the reason the public is better behaved is because the police are also better behaved toward the public when on camera? I agree that this will help both sides.<br/><br/> Not all officers are the same (but not all members of the public are criminals), the officers who might have been inclined to be rude will think twice. Therefore, when they are more pleasant to the general public, then the general public will also behave better.... "a kind word turns away wrath".
BforB I always wondered about that. How can all this fraud be going on without the "mucka-mucks" at BEC knowing? Either they are totally incompetent and should be fired for that or they are crooks. But sumptin ain't right... da ain' no mosquito bite!
I don't think this is the appropriate time for political rhetoric. Someone passed away. Family members probably read what's posted here.<br/> To the bereaved, I wish you heartfelt condolences as I know firsthand how devastating it is when you lose someone close to you. Prayers are with you.
Seriously though, URCA needs to monitor Tribune stories. Stop rushing to print before getting the facts straight. It makes everyone look bad unnecessarily.
I don't think you can really compare the type of 'ring play' of yester-year to the **twerking** of today. <br/>The dance moves today are far more sexually suggestive. Just look at the music videos that these children copy these dances from now... and the music videos of the 80s.
Now let's see if Dr. 'Cry Baby' Sands will continue to cast blame or actually come up with practical solutions. <br/> Should I hold my breath and wait and see... probably not! Wouldn't want to pass out and end up at PMH!

Salient points. I am very disappointed in Minnis' comments.
