Chucky, as a matter of fact the you do have to have your boat inspected annually in order to license it. An inspector from the Port Authority boards your boat and carries out a physical inspection for radio, flares, life jackets, tools, first aid kit etc in addition to grading the condition of the hull and machinery and a $20 inspection fee is charged in addition to the licensing fee. On top of that, in order to obtain insurance the boat must be surveyed by a certified Marine Surveyor every two years.

Right on sealice, they should take it a couple of steps further and (a) ban exports of conch and (b) put a closed season on them as they do for lobster and grouper.

You and Elliot must be drinking the same cool-aid. Why should the Bahamian taxpayers be saddled with paying for a huge law suit because Mr. Smith & Co neglected to have personal liability insurance which should be mandatory for anyone in that business?
I guess the next step will be for the taxpayers to compensate those people in Andros because their relatives decided to fly Hacker Airlines instead of Bahamasair.

Its time the police to stop their reckless swerving and barging through the traffic, they don't even slow down for red lights. We see the same scenario played out daily and those poor people in their little van probably never saw them coming, only by Gods grace was no one seriously injured. Unfortunately, sooner than later someone will be seriously injured or killed and, judging from how the coroners court functions, their relatives will have little recourse.

Judging from what continues to issue forth from them I would say that at least two of Birdies orifices are interchangeable.

Things haven't exactly been rosy since the government changed, but then Rome, having been burnt to ashes by the last Emperor, won't be rebuilt in a day or a year even.
Having said that , whatever missteps the Minnis government have made to date, and there have been more than a few, pale in comparison to the destruction overseen by the PLP government during their, hopefully, last term in office. You seem to have a habit of calling anyone who dares to disagree with you an FNM hack while blatantly wearing your PLP colors on your sleeve, but obviously are not a progressive thinker.
Now you can shoot the Messenger.
