It is to be hoped that some people return to Ragged Island, otherwise how can the government justify pouring millions of dollars into island infrastructure, airports, docks, power, water, telecommunications and clinics for a population of 200 people more or less?

Well, Dr Darville might not have approved it but someone did as the carnival already set up on Clifford Park big as billy.
Why would the government allow this, Covid notwithstanding, people can’t pay their bills or buy food but they can find money for carnival ?
Not to mention that all of the money spent there leaves the country. Where is the benefit from this circus to the local economy?
One thing for sure, somebody getting paid off.
New Day?? Maybe, but on the face of it ain’t nothing changed.
