Proud give it up dude...you chicken over a little sneeze - oh daddy Minnis please.. please save me from all the unvaccinated please oh pretty please ...
i think our pm confusing the metrics - pandemics don’t end we people get jabbed..this is a annual cycle at this point with peaks and troughs and as much as he’s wishes he can control he can’t even with vaccines..seasonality, viral evolution, T cell immunity, antibodies..vaccines work so well Pfizer is insisting we all need third jabs after 6 months! There literal prescription drugs that are taken less frequently then that...
@Emilio Does that make these countries right? Because of the all proverbial elephants jumped over the cliff because they were afraid of mouse - does that make it good policy. To keep Bahamians under lock and key after 1.5 years when we now know who is exactly at risk - who is likely to be hospitalised, who is likely to die and that numbers overall likely to impacted fatally is less than 0.2%...We know school closures don't work , we know masks don't work, we now lockdowns don't work, we know C19 doesn't spread outdoors and that vitamin d makes a difference and every government policy implemented fly in the face of this info and only embarrassment of their failure allows to them to cling to another narrative (As with every other nation in the planet) so profusely they would rather but all hope in a experimental bio technology than acknowledge the truth or support basic human rights.
True BUT let's face the facts - CFR were overrated, IFR too...we're comparing apples to oranges, when talking about relative risk (or safety) when comparing the flu and CV19 purely on the basis of the definition of case and even cause of death..we're no longer in Kansas anymore - thanks to the testing industry and government restrictions around human activity that have generated the need to test...In 2019 there were there were 1.1 million tests conducted for the flu in the USA (test positivity of 15% FYI), by mid 2020 there were a million tests conducted every day...In spite of all that microscopic attention covid has received it's landing at around the same IFR as the flu...people are/were safe, government interference has perhaps undermined that position - 100,000 people could not feed themselves last June in Bahamas - even if every single person caught the virus in The Bahamas based on the best estimates of Cv19's IFR at most 500ish people might die - about the same as those that perish each year from poor diet, lack of exercise and cardio vascular diseases...
What deaths? Literally 3 times (600+) as many people died from poor diet cardiovascular diseases...(each year) and yet this is exactly same demographic that are primarily effected by C-19...we don't have an excess mortality tally but roughly no more extra persons have died in this country.. The reason we're third world country that can barely keep the lights on is because we elect idiotic politicians (plp and fnm) that can't balance the books or make policy decisions with courage...but by all means blame covid and people that question the data..or simply read it - inspite of the vaccine many many countries case loads have increases..substantial ones..
Oh those pesky little facts so inconvenient...the way it’s going you be walking around with a bag of Vaccine juice being intravenous fed...sounds like for all that macho talk you re afraid of something that 99.98% of people survive..you poor thing,.
Masks would not do any good anyway against an aerosolized pathogen - but hard to back meddle when you ve destroyed the economy, kids educations, small business and well likely killed a few people with lockdowns by preventing travel and forcing prolong indoor cohabitation.
