If we are to “seriously” defeat Covid ... neither landscaping nor pool maintenance can be viewed as “essential business” by any stretch of one’s imagination ... as every living human being can mow grass and trim trees ... and scoop leaves out of a pool “if their lives depend on it”, indeed to allow such operations makes a mockery of the sacrifices everyone else is having to make.

Albany operates as a semi-sovereign nation with laws unto itself, so even thought it exploits concessions under the Hotel Encouragement Act as “a Resort” supposedly Open to the Public to build Homes for private residences on the premise such Homes are in a Hotel Pool (whilst the rest of us pay full duty), the minute one tries to rent one of these Homes, the immediate response is “Sorry, Unavailable” ... and this assumes you can actually get through the Gates in the first place to Check In!

The fact that Albany has arrogantly defied all Covid Protocols and remained Open as usual whether it be Restaurants, Pools, Beaches, you name it, while the rest of us are “Locked Down” has only served to highlight its autonomous status.
