Great Message, but not the best example of “Social Distancing” ... please practice what you preach if you want General Public to take you seriously. Nonetheless, Thank You for your Service!
Many of these “fly by night” supposed Security Companies are in fact nothing more than Scam Operations employing undesirables who create the very security issues they then seek to extort money from the victims to address. Government oversight of this currently unregulated industry is desperately needed.
excellent!!! Most “decisive” Leader we have ever had! Thank you for doing your best to protect us whilst juggling all the many competing interests. Again, thank you!
This is equally crazy to allowing NIA to be used as a hub for international travelers scampering around the world. We are losing are huge advantage of being Islands, which by definition create isolation and protect us in times like this ... but not if we continue to connect them by moving people back and forth. All persons outside or within The Bahamas (Foreign or Bahamian) should have figured out by now where they intend to spend the foreseeable future and stay put! Again, just ask the Italians now with hindsight what they think of this, as Lord knows they would love to turn back the clock and do things differently.
This is insane ... we are acting as a hub for international travelers to get around flight restrictions impacting their normal flight routes. Indeed, it already appears it is though this very Airport that “Patient 0” arrived ... and that was most likely “at east” 2 to 3 weeks ago now, so one can only imagine the number of infected people that arrived since and interacted with Flight Attendants, Baggage Handlers, Customs Officers, Taxi Drivers, etc. History could well end up judging this as our dumbest decision of all time ... literally! Just ask the Italians what they would have done differently if they could turn back time.
Congratulations to Maurice Glinton for exposing the unethical manner in which long and good standing Clients are being inexplicably treated without cause and until perhaps now, repercussion from any regulatory authority responsible for licencing oversight.
Reckon this is a case of “the Pot calling the Kettle black”! In any event, reputations of both and those closely affiliated are “done”, which is sad not only for them, but for us as a Country, as the mistrust created by this scandal will impact future charitable efforts for those in need for many generations to come and far exceed whatever “good” these Ladies achieved or “think” they achieved.
Based on last comment that there is only one Mako Boat involved and the body of one of the missing was found “under” the Boat “submerged in water”, one is led to now presume the Boat turned over and the other missing person became separated from the Boat. Nonetheless, this is merely further speculation and one can only hope that whoever is responsible for reporting this Story can provide a more accurate account of what information is known.
According to this Reporting, 25’ Mako (Manufacturer) Boat leaves Lowe Sound on 25th December (Christmas Day) with two men on board for Northwest Channel Light (35 miles away) intent on fishing. On 3rd January (10 days later) one of the two men is found dead on a 19’ Mako (same Brand of Boat) 18/20 miles off Morgan’s Bluff (presumably in the Tongue of the Ocean). Where did this second smaller Boat originate from and who is the Registered Owner?
