Dawes says...

They don't care for people when they are alive, why would they care when they are dead.

Dawes says...

WE don't do health and safety here. We accept that every year there will be a couple of deaths and many serious injuries on building sites. IF we wanted to reduce these we would enforce health and safety laws. I shouldn't see people 5 floors up on a roof with no safety harness, or people wearing no hard helmets. When was the last time someone inspected buildings to say they were safe? . Until that changes tragic situations such as these will continue.

I think you've misunderstood her. She is saying that we could ignore it, but then we will have problems in later years so we shouldn't.

Seems strange for Wendys to blast the one company that brings pretty much all the people you wish to sell to, to the area.

Dawes says...

Only two years and counting to clean that up, speedy. Good luck to the residents of North Andros on getting a power station any time soon then

Of course the easement is open. This talk by Wynn that they have a legal opinion that it is no longer there is alarming and Government should immediately inform them that is not the case. Easements can not be gotten rid of just because someone wants that. They are there for all the pubic.

Dawes says...

The PM said this will happen, All these approvals are just rubber stamping what has already been decided.

Dawes says...

Most probably. If he is a shop steward then they will strike

Dawes says...

It is over 3 months since this happened and we are still talking about what is going to happen. Someone needs to help the people of North Andros as the Government won't

40 units and 49 spots, thats only 1.23 per unit. This doesn't even include the spots needed for staff. I would suggest if Bahamians find no parking in Goodmans car park they park outside of Wynn making their entrance an eyesore. How Town Planning could OK the initial building and then this with no parking is beyond me.
