I wish ministers would let the experts speak to these matters and cite actual research they've done to come up with their conclusions. Go and find out what govts are fairly entitled to across the world for findings/salvage.
The minister can state their position and commission the study. The researchers go off then come back and report their independent findings. The minister can then do with it what they wish.

Not sure if that's correct. I've been looking for a definitive answer on who owns what and what the site country is entitled to, I have seen recent changes to laws that indicate that a country never abandons its vessels even if they're not actively searching for them. Thus if it's a Spsnish galleon Spain could claim it. Whether that's the most recent interpretation of the law I dont know. A group of Bahamians should not be allowed to willy nilly contaminate the water table. Who gave her permission to dig a sewerage pit? Who's in ssd expecting it to ensure the illegal structure is to code?
Doesnt matter if she had a license or was insured. Insurers know age is a risk factor for dangerous driving. It's just a factor of youth, they make risky decisions with their physical beings, that's why we get them to go to war...
General statement, Poorly lit roads and irresponsible pedestrians put many drivers in jeopardy. The police need to start fining pedestrians who try to cross roads wherever they feel like, and do things like walk two abreast for "exercise" at dawn and dusk in dark clothing. Saw 2 men crossing the intersection on 4 lane Prince Charles when the light in both directions was on green... literally walking into busy oncoming traffic. Fix this before it gets further out of hand, tourists are mimicking our bad road use behaviour
Sigh. While there were likely a few evangelists at the crypto conference, most people were just there for the who's who/how to make a quick buck appeal. Scaramucci was not interested in crypto, he was counting how many people paid 5000 to sit down. We need to understand what's happening or we'll be in "homeporting" land again, planning and forseeing wonderful business opportunities for bahamians as the people we banking on getting ready to close up shop and move to greener pastures
