**and why is pintard so quiet about all of this??!!!**

**pintard should have long ago spoken up and told government that the electra america hospitality group's bid for the grand lucayan property should not be entertained by government. just as he should have spoken up loudly in the first place when minnis first proposed government buy this aged and not well maintained property.**

**whether fnm or plp ....... nothing but the same corrupt, incompetent and pathetic difference!!!**

> Suggesting that this legal power was taken away “for unknown reasons” some 12 years ago, Sir Brian added: “It seems to me that this was an oversight, but this is a matter for Parliament. There is no ambiguity here which can be resolved by the court through the application of established principles of statutory interpretation.

Moree was absolutely right when he said **".....but this is a matter for Parliament."** So why in hell did he take it upon himself to usurp the role of Parliament and absurdly attempt to enact legislation by way of a court ruling?!! And to think Moree then has the chutzpah to instruct Parliament to align the IBC Act to accord with his ruling no matter what Parliament's earlier legislative intent may have been.

One must wonder whether Moree's old law firm, MBH, had any skin in this matter. Also, why did Moree elect to issue such a highly controversial and contentious ruling just before stepping down as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and ascending to the Appellate Court where his ruling on this matter would be heard on appeal?

And just think how many other cases of IBC's removed from the register but not restored upon request of their owners and other stakeholders may now come before the courts.

All of this really stinks to high heaven, especially given that Parliament, the courts and many in our legal community have known about these Bacardi family legal skirmishes for nearly two decades.

Could it be that Moree is trying to save the hides of certain partners at the Lennox Paton (LP) law firm?

The Bacardi family are well-known tax dodgers which makes the sympathy and great favours Moree has bestowed on them even more intriguing to say the least. Way too many questions are begged in all that has gone on here. But with Moree now on the appellate court they are unlikely to get a fair hearing on appeal and therefore no public airing. On the face of it, this entire matter smells ideally ripe for a hearing by the Privy Council.

Agree.

Our PM's very loony daughter-in-law, JoBeth Coleby-Davis should be serving a prison term for recently attempted homicide of a police officer using her vehicle with her at the wheel. And there's plenty of video and audio evidence of the incident that went viral on the internet.

Why hasn't loony JoBeth Coleby-Davis been arrested, arraigned, found guilty of attempted vehicular homicide, and, in the interest of justice, sentenced to prison for a term of incarceration commensurate the seriousness of her crime?????!!!!!!!

Is it because she's the daughter-in-law of corrupt roly-poly PM Davis and Police Commissioner Fernander promised the turning of a blind eye to this matter in exchange for his recent lofty appointment?

He certainly didn't leave the Supreme Court a better place than he found it. And now we have Chief Justice Winder. That say's it all ! LOL

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will **not** be funding many of the significant costs our small financially struggling nation will incur in hosting this lavish vacation event for the region's political elite. And we all know the regional participants will spend their shopping money in Miami as they usually do when they attend such events in our country.

Roly-poly Davis and corkscrew Frweddy Boy should have never agreed to host this ridiculous expensive gathering of the region's political elite against the backdrop of our small nation's most serious financial woes.

Didn't the Office of the PM get the memo from the Rothschild Family recommending that the Bahamian government immediately cease hosting all such costly extravaganzas? Are they waiting on a follow-up memo from the IMF?!

Roly-poly Davis should have insisted the event be held over the internet by Zoom to avoid the possibility of further spread to our nation of all the monkey-pox that is going around according to our dumber-than-dumb minister of health. That would have been the ideal 'made-up' excuse for avoiding all the costs that our nation will be saddled with as a result of hosting this event at Communist Red China's Baha Mar property.

*Repost:*

This is now much too little, much too late.

Since becoming PM, cruel, corrupt and incompetent Davis has spent so much time lavishly travelling the world with his entourages at the Bahamian taxpayers' expense that he has little understanding what is really going on in our country today. The same goes for many of his equally incompetent and clueless cabinet ministers.

When are desperate Bahamians and their family members going to get the year long VAT-free food holiday they have been begging for to help ease their great pain and suffering?
