They'll be asked politely; maybe even have to fill out a form (check a box) each morning - stating 'I am not smuggling in contraband, weapons or cell phones'.

The cruise ships will have no incentive to promote shops/activities that are outside of their new port area - THAT is my concern. They can make the port area into such a comprehensive/fun theme park that no passenger would want to brave the streets of Nassau.

We simply aren't mature enough to feed ourselves. We are children, waiting for someone else to cook our food, cut our meat and place the 'not too hot' food gently into our mouths.

I'm stunned that it was stopped so quickly (not really). A few complaints and our representatives always change course. they are weak! If the officers didn't want to be stripped searched then they could quit and find another job.

Next thing the officers are going to complain about is being monitored too much - get rid of security cameras on their routes. ridiculous!!!

Is the lack of black officers because of a lack of education (i.e. unable to pass the tests) or a lack of wanting to serve in that sort of civic capacity?

And I hasten to guess that the average wage in the financial services industry is about $50k a year where the average wage in the hotel/tourism industry is closer to $20k. With the loss of the financial services industry worker the entire economy has been decimated. Banks no longer have a pool of professionals that they can lend money to. The amount of money in circulation has also dropped dramatically because of the loss of the financial industry worker (and the unfortunate legalization of the numbers criminals).

Find the culprit and then stab him in the head with the same knife and THEN hand cuff him, THEN take him to the police station for questioning and THEN take him for treatment.

Those police were too nice. What he need was a billy club to the head instead of trying to tackle him.

That's certainly an argument to be discussed. Our economy certainly can't absorb 6,000 plus school kids looking for work each year - many of whom can't read or write.
